Exercise Description:
Martial Arts Side Kick with TheraGear® Power Weight Ball and TheraGear® Body Toning Bar

Classification:
Glutes, Lower Body

Instruction:
This can be done with a post, hanging onto a stable surface, free standing, or a TheraGear® Body Toning Bar. It is an exercise more specific to martial arts. Place a TheraGear® Power Weight Ball onto the foot, and begin with the knee up and parallel to the hip, while the upper body is turned sideways, but level with the hip. The supporting knee should be kept soft, with the foot following the same direction as the torso. Slowly extend the TheraGear® Power Weight Ball from the knee and then return for repetitions. Switch legs after sets complete.
